Here are couple of the ways we are waiting and preparing to celebrate the birth of our Savior. We are lighting the traditional advent wreath and this year we are participating in a centuries old tradition of making a Jesse Tree. The Jesse Tree is decorated with ornaments that trace the lineage of Jesus back to the creation of the world and culminates with his birth on Christmas Day. Everyday we read a Bible story and then the boys make an ornament to symbolize what they have learned. We are having a great time with this new tradition.
